HONESTY TALK

I have been contemplating about what kind of post I wanted to make. I wanted to suggest you what to wear for New Year's Eve, to publish one outfit post(I finally got the pictures), to make a post about Christmas in my home and city, but in the end, since it's the real end of 2013 I decided to make something completely different.I wanted to do a kind of review on this past year of 2013 and by doing that tell you honestly what I think about some things that have been on my mind for the past long period of time.

If you ever happen to be in Rijeka, make sure you visit Trsatska Gradina at Trsat (a Marian sanctuary). It was freezing when we shot these pictures and the wind was also present. When there's no tourists it's a perfect place to come and to just think about stuff you know.. As for the outfit, I kinda wanted to make things a little bit more interesting with this "sweater" from Zara, and this is what I came up with. What do you think?

News and new beginings

CHANGES. It's been a long 3 and a half months of not posting here on Unicorns, Heels and American Dreams, but my imagination is not over, heels are still here to be worn and my american dreams are higher and clearer than ever. No, I didn't give up blogging here, but I had couple of hard months and situations that I had to deal with.I believe you can tell that there have been some changes on the blog! I did change my blog design, thanks to Areeba who did all the magic and patiently listened to my directions and wishes! Thank You Areeba once again!

But, first things first, I've got the new design and I've got some new, much much better quality photos thanks to my friend Ivan Molnar and his photography skills. From now on, we will collaborate together on this blog :) so you guys better prepare! :)

These are some new things I got collectively and I am in love with this pink colour of the bag which is the perfect go to cross body bag for everyday and of the shoes which are, because of their pointed toe, very modern nowadays. The blazer had me at hello because of its cut and the perfect mixture of materials, I can't wait to wear it! I am usually not much of an accessory person but this necklace was just so simple and nice that I had to buy it, it will neutralize the intense colours of the outfit and I love it!

One of my favorite bands ever in my life, 30 Seconds To Mars has the new studio album which was realiesed yesterday! I am so excited for the new songs, they're just perfect! It is their fourth studio album which is called "Love Lust Faith + Dreams" and their first single from the album is "Up in the air"

I can't believe it's been two years since I saw them live on a concert in Zagreb and on Sziget Festival in Budapest! :(

Well, it's been 2 years since I opened this blog and shared my thoughts with you guys.

I don't want to brag about the future, about plans, promises etc,

 all I want is to THANK YOU for making this blog exist, for all your clicks out here and all of your comments, I do appriciate every and each one of them!

One promise that I am going to make is that; I'm gonna bring this to another, higher level and give my best.

+25°C AND HAPPYINESS!

It has been such a pleasure to have +25°C in the air this past week and I felt so happy to finally wear some lighter clothes, although I was a bit sceptic that I'm gonna be cold, but everything was alright. The day we took this photo was surprisingly my lucky day, saying surprisingly because I thought that Monday is going to be a disaster, but it wasn't, thank God! And of course I was stupid enough to forget the USB for my camera so I couldn't import any photos from it, that's why the posts are a little bit late. Sorry. As for the outfit, I felt like wearing different shades and variations of green so I took my good ol' pants from Zara and my parka. I think it looks quite good! As for the bag, I do care about them, and about what they've done, but the bag was too cool to leave it on the shelf of a store. :)

In 9 days, I am going to celebrate my 20th birthday and this is a small wish list I made of the things I would like to get for my birthday, although unlikely not any of these will come true. The Urban Decay Palette has been on my wishlist for the longest time and I hope I get it this summer, Manifesto by YSL just smells amazing, smells like a grown up girl, entering the big world determined and confident. As for DiorSkin, I have had a small tester tube of this foundation and GOSH you guys! It made my skin perfectly matte and without any imperfections showing! It is literally THE MOST PERFECT foundation I've ever tryed! Lime Crime and MAC are here to spice up this spring and hot weather that is coming! As for the Iphone, it is because I am assured that it is the only phone that's not going to cause me problems and make my hair go up in the air from maddness because my phones keep breaking down. The Samsung Galaxy Camera is a wonder of technology especially for ones with small pocket, it has all of the options and it can go online as well! I would love to take my pictures with it and post them on instagram instantly! As for the shoes, VANS are my favorite shoes, sneakers however you want to call them ever, I've worn them since I was 14 and I will keep wearing them, these eye-candies are just perfect! And this ALDO boots are the perfect Balenciaga-look-alikes and they're quite affordable!

When you live in Croatia, you're a student in town other than your hometown and you're a single mother's child you have to invest in clothes and shoes smart. I have been wanting shoes like Isabel Marant's for a year now but for me the offer wasn't the truest to the real shoes. All those shops Zara, New Yorker, Deichmann, Cavallino and other local shops didn't have a single pair that looks exactly like the designer's. A few weeks ago I was crusing through the internet pages of Pull and Bear and Bershka and I found these babies. My heart beated for them for weeks and my lovely grandmother asked me if I wanted them for my birthday as an early gift and I ofcourse said YES! They were around 100 dollars but they were the truest and the most beautiful pair of Isabel Marant look-a-likes! What do you guys think? Do they look so true to you?
