HONESTY

Hi. I hope you haven't forgotten about me. I want to talk about something that I've never talked about here on the blog. I was always trying to find some excuses why I don't write posts here on the blog, and they were mainly about: how I don't have perfect camera, how I don't have time, how I don't have money for the clothes every month, how I don't have backgrounds and "life" like other bloggers and I was always, but always scared you wouldn't like my posts.

I've come to realization that first I do not have to have a blog like other bloggers because my life is unique with its own ups and downs, struggles, joys. I don't need to have new clothes every month to suggest you what you can wear. And there is always time to be found if you want something enough.

I cannot honestly believe myself that I've let this blog not be updated for a year. This past year has been a real struggle for me, in the meaning of every letter of the word struggle. I don't want to brag about it too much, just wanted to say I've been let down from too many persons that year. But also, some exciting things have happened, things like having a nice birthday gathering in the cabin from the picture in February.

In April I contacted a job agent in Germany that I met in 2014 to work over the summer in Germany and also arranged for my 2 college friends to come with me. In May I worked my ass off at my student job in Croatia so I could collect some money to actually go and work for summer. That month was really full of surprises for me: I was working 8-10 or 14 hours a day, going to college, passing all my finals, going out on festival, student day festival and I did not get sick! And trust me, my immune  system is terrible and I always get sick.

On July 2nd starts all the excitement called: Germany. We drove 12 hours with the bus to come to Stuttgart. We rented a hostel, that was enormously expensive and terrible. We saw our agent and started working on 6th. We worked for the chocolate factory. I remember us being so confused and so little that first day. The second week of work we met 4 Romanian students who were the only ones speaking english. And our adventure was about to begin. I want to dedicate a special post about this period some other time.

We came back only 10 days before our last year at college begin and nothing much exciting has been happening, except for the day when I made my first tattoo which I will post picture of after this text. The second exciting thing was when I bought the airplane ticket to - Romania! Yes, I went to visit my new found summer friends to their lovely country and I had a blast! Also, this was my first time flying with an airplane!

I am strongly motivated for this year as I have really big plans I still don't want to talk a lot about, but you will see. I want to show you and tell you my experience from Germany and visiting Romania. I want to keep this blog alive as I believe I have strong words to communicate with you. Please, bare with me, I am going to do my best, I promise. Thank you.

ULTRA EUROPE 2014 (THE TICKET)

It's mine! They should have released tickets on sale on the 24th, but they changed the date on February 19th, so I was a little bit nervous that I'm not going to make it with the money. Thank God I did, and in the morning my best friend and I went to buy me a ticket(to paradise hehe). A lot of people said it's too much money, yes I am aware of that, especially because the amount of money I gave for this 3-day-festival ticket is the price I am paying my appartment in Rijeka where I study. But, the ticket is for 3 days, I haven't been to any concert for about 2 years and I've never been at the seaside with my friends alone without my parents, plus last year I was working the whole summer. So, yes I will give up a few extra coffees when in college, or few extra pizzas or meals just to go there. Don't get me wrong - I am going to eat ofcourse(I love food too much to give up on that) but I am talking about unnecessary meals that in either way wouldn't make me any healthier so I can survive without them. Now, the mission is to save up some money for the bus and food&drinks. I know I am going to make it, I'm so excited for this, and I hope months will pass by very soon! Also, I am going there with my elementary school friends Leo and Tamara, whom I adore which makes me even more excited!

IT'S BEEN A YEAR OF HAPPINESS

Today, on February 16th I met this wonderful boy who changed my life completely. Our story has begun actually on June 8th when we met at the Bon Jovi concert in Zagreb which was 2 years ago and he came with my friend from school and her sister. However, somehow I was too stupid and wasn't feeling like meeting him better. At the end of 2011 me and my friend from school started hanging out at his place and that was the time when we started to getting know each other more and more.

Postcards from Slovenia

Here I am with my postcards, I hope you're gonna like them and see how much a person can enjoy there! It's really beautiful.
First, we visited Kumrovec, the birthplace of Marshal Tito, the president of former Yugoslavia. On the pictures you can see how people lived there before, it's an Open Air Museum :). Then we visited
Thereme Olimie. A Hotel complex with few hotels, aquapark(which was closed) and saunas, spas and thermes. Guys, the hotel is amazing!! Ugh, we could just wish to go there! Actually it's not that expensive, 198€ for a weekend and everything is included!
After therms we visited a farm called "Deers reef", deers are first that will welcome you when you enter the farm, you can feed them, buy bacon, hazelnuts, jam etc... You can also have a lunch there. By the reef is Chocolate shop. It's a small manufacture by one family that makes choclate by themselves. It's so delicious, I recommend you! Here are the photos:

Postcards from Glina

I spent nice weekend in another town at my friend's birthday party/sleepover. It's a small town with houses settled like in the States, in some places, but streets are a lot smaller than in the USA. We went to the river to walk in it, take pictures, then to her home to take some rest, we played Singstar, listening to good old Bon Jovi and 80' and 90' music and enjoyed Becherovka, the national Czech Republic drink that I adore, guys I can tell I FELT PRAGUE IN MY MOUTH AND IT BROUGHT ONE OF THE BEST MEMORIES BACK AGAIN, which I was so happy about. In the club was okay too. I didn't wear anything special over the day, just an relaxing outfit, denim shorts, sandals and my friend's gift from Barcelona shirt. For the night I wore a dress, cardigan(because there's a lot colder than in Zagreb), boots and bag, but unfortuantely I couldn't take pictures cause it was too dark. Here are for you, photos of nice weekend.

Let me live!

It's been a month since I last blogged, and feel awful because of it, but summer is definetly going in the direction I haven't expected, and I'm actually lovin' it! Firstly, on July 8th I got the call to go work in a hotel on the Island of Krk. I was more than happy to go there work because I really was kind of sad and had nothing to do with myself plus, totally broke. So I spent a little less than a month on the island and met wonderful people from other parts of the country. Here are some pictures of moments spent there.

I came back home on August the 1st with the greatest news so far! My friend won 4 tickets to Sziget Festival in Budapest(Hungary)!! We were supposed to go there on August 8th in the early morning. So there was one week to pass until the start and I was more than excited. I went to my grandparents on the village to spend some time on fresh and clean air and to charge my batteries but I got ill and had to take pills, lemonade and lots of vitamins. I came back to Zagreb on August 7th and tried to get ready for the trip but everything was so last minute and there was a lot of stuff I was taking but I somehow managed to do everything, although I forgot some things at home ofcourse. Guys, I must tell you SZIGET FESTIVAL IS AWESOME! It is definetly worth visiting, it's such a great and new experience I am so happy about. I have seen so many abilities for visitors, also, a lot of new, fashion conscioussned and beautiful people.
I've seen Prince, Rise Against, Good Charlotte, The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Hadouken, Overflow, Kate Nash, Kaiser Chiefs, 30 Seconds To Mars, Kid Cudi, Dizzee Rascal, 2manydjs live. Here are some pictures.

I highly recommend you to visit Sziget festival! I hope you like the pictures, sorry because this post is too long and leave a comment.
Have you maybe been to the Sziget Festival? Or, have you visited Budapest? What do you think about this beautiful city?
